Italian is the reference text for these terms and the forum rules. Other versions are courtesy translations. In the event of differences in interpretation, the Italian text is the reference, only to the extent permitted by law and without prejudice to users’ mandatory rights, including rights relating to information provided before purchase.
ClubAlfa brings car enthusiasts together to share experiences, ask questions and exchange views. These rules help keep discussions readable, useful and respectful.
They apply to public posts, private conversations through the service, profiles, signatures, avatars and attachments. The forum is operated by StarAtlas Media S.L.U.; the general relationship with the operator is covered by the terms of use.
Back to contentsDiscuss ideas without attacking people. Insults, threats, harassment, discrimination and disclosure of private information to intimidate or expose someone are not allowed, including in private conversations.
Respect members, staff and people outside the community. Do not use contact details found on the forum to send offensive, harassing or unsolicited promotional messages.
Back to contentsYou may express positive or negative views about cars, companies, products and services. Explain your experience clearly, distinguishing facts, opinions and assumptions. When reporting news or verifiable allegations, provide relevant sources and context.
A negative assessment is not, by itself, provocation. Personal attacks, knowingly false allegations and contributions intended to derail discussions are not allowed. Do not present something as established when you lack grounds to support it.
Back to contentsRelevant discussion of incentives, taxation, mobility, the environment, rules and public decisions affecting the automotive sector is allowed.
Stay on topic. Propaganda, election campaigning, party-political disputes and unrelated political discussions are not allowed. Political opinions do not justify insults or discrimination.
Back to contentsChoose the appropriate section and a descriptive title. Before opening a discussion, check whether a relevant one already exists. Do not unnecessarily repeat the same content or post it across multiple sections.
For technical questions, provide useful vehicle and problem details without unnecessary identifying information. If you find a solution, share it in the discussion.
Use understandable language and simple formatting. Avoid entire posts in capitals, confusing abbreviations, excessively large text and repeated emoji. Use the theme’s default text colour, which also adapts to dark mode; highlight only what is necessary.
Quote useful passages without unnecessarily reproducing lengthy text or images. A relevant image or video can be a useful contribution and is not spam simply because it lacks extensive accompanying text.
Back to contentsDo not use the forum for repetitive messages, deliberately off-topic posts, unauthorised self-promotion or content unrelated to the discussion.
Do not provoke members to elicit hostile reactions. If provoked, avoid escalating the conflict and use Report. Persistent participation in a conflict may also lead to action against those responding.
Back to contentsDo not publish pornographic or erotic material, threats, incitement to violence, discriminatory content or material breaching laws or third-party rights.
Distribution, links and requests aimed at illegally obtaining software, navigation maps, activation codes, protected copies or other material are prohibited. Discussion of lawful purchase and use remains allowed.
Publish texts, photographs and documents only if you may lawfully share them. Attribution alone does not authorise full reproduction of protected material. Staff may remove or restrict content under the Rules and applicable obligations.
Back to contentsYou may discuss road traffic rules, offences, penalties, modifications and track activities. State the context and do not describe something intended for a circuit or subject to restrictions as permitted on public roads.
Do not use the forum to organise or encourage illegal racing or other dangerous road behaviour. Technical discussions must distinguish personal experiences from necessary professional checks, especially where vehicle safety is involved.
Back to contentsYou may share relevant links to workshops, shops, products and services when useful to the discussion and not interested or repetitive promotion.
If you own, work for, collaborate with or financially benefit from a business you mention, disclose the relationship clearly. Promotions, offers, remunerated links and commercial initiatives require prior staff authorisation and compliance with any rules for the relevant section.
Partner or sponsor authorisation does not permit misleading advertising, spam or pressure on members. Commercial areas may have specific terms that must be read before use.
Back to contentsYou may link to other communities as relevant sources or useful resources. Recruitment campaigns, repeated or unsolicited promotional invitations and the use of private conversations to systematically redirect members to other services are not allowed.
Agree any collaboration or promotional initiative with staff in advance.
Back to contentsTo participate in the forum you must be 18 or older and have a complete date of birth in your account. If the age requirement is not met, participation is suspended until you turn 18, without automatic deletion of your account or contributions. Contact the administration to correct a recorded date or report an error, even without signing in.
You may use a pseudonym. Do not choose nicknames that impersonate others, imply non-existent staff positions or are offensive or deliberately provocative.
Do not use additional accounts to evade suspensions or restrictions, manipulate votes or discussions, manufacture support or mislead members about the origin of contributions. Multiple accounts or a shared connection do not, by themselves, prove abuse.
Do not share credentials or present yourself as a moderator or administrator without that role. Banned members must not use other accounts to evade the measure.
Back to contentsSignatures, avatars, titles and profile information must follow the same rules as posts. They must not contain prohibited material, political propaganda, personal attacks, misleading staff references or unauthorised promotions.
Use the available tools and observe your account’s limits. Staff may request changes or act on non-compliant elements under the general moderation criteria.
Back to contentsPhotographs of vehicles and automotive experiences enrich the community. Before uploading, check that you may publish them and examine visible references.
In garage images, obscure registration plates, vehicle identification numbers, contact details, documents and unnecessary identifying references. Also consider faces, reflections, signs, metadata and details that may identify other people or private places.
A car’s presence in a public space does not automatically make publication or reuse of any photograph unrestricted. Reporting channels and rights procedures are available for problematic content.
Back to contentsUse the content’s Report feature, stating the reason and useful references. Possible breaches of law or rights can also be reported through the operator’s contact channels, accessible without an account.
Do not take over staff duties, threaten sanctions or publish personal data to support a dispute. Reports must be accurate and made in good faith.
Back to contentsEach member is responsible for content they post or send, including messages, images and attachments, whether offensive, defamatory, falsely accusatory or otherwise unlawful. Publication on the forum alone does not imply the operator’s or staff’s approval, nor does it automatically make them jointly responsible.
Staff do not approve every contribution in advance and do not guarantee continuous, round-the-clock presence or instant removal of every disputed item. Private conversations and emails exchanged by members are not subject to prior reading or approval by staff; recipients may report unlawful conduct or breaches of the Rules.
Moderators may act following spot checks, reports or other information received, where content conflicts with the Rules or the law. Reports are assessed diligently: provide the precise content link, the disputed passages, the reason and information useful for assessment. A complaint alone does not automatically lead to removal.
When the operator obtains knowledge of specific unlawful content, it acts expeditiously to remove it or disable access in accordance with applicable law; it also complies with orders from competent authorities. The absence of continuous monitoring does not exclude these obligations. Mandatory legal responsibilities of the operator and the individuals concerned remain unaffected.
Staff may warn members, edit or remove content, move or close discussions, restrict features, suspend or ban accounts. Action considers severity, context, consequences and repetition.
There is no mandatory warning sequence: serious or urgent breaches may require immediate action. Decisions and reasons are communicated under applicable procedures and obligations.
Premium membership does not exempt anyone from the Rules. The effects of a ban on paid services follow the Premium terms and applicable rights.
Back to contentsTo understand a measure, you may ask the moderator who took it for clarification. To request review, contact the administration through the operator’s contact channels, stating your nickname, the disputed measure and your reasons, without sending passwords.
This channel remains available when an account is suspended or banned. Internal review does not limit statutory rights or remedies.
Do not turn discussions into personal disputes with staff or apply repeated pressure, harassment or threats. A reasoned request for clarification or review is not, by itself, a breach.
Back to contentsStaff choose moderators and contributors. You may respectfully express an interest; an unsolicited application does not trigger automatic sanctions or create a right to appointment.
Harassing persistence, pressure and abuse are assessed under the general rules.
Back to contentsAuthors retain rights in contributions and grant the operator the licence described in the general terms. Account closure does not automatically remove published posts and photographs.
Retention and permitted uses continue within the limits of the applicable licence and law. Personal data, copyright and other rights requests are assessed individually: identifying details are addressed where sufficient, and content is removed where necessary. The absence of names or registration plates alone does not guarantee anonymity.
Request closure through available profile tools or support. For personal data, consult the privacy notice.
Back to contentsPremium memberships are optional and follow the dedicated terms. Membership benefits do not change conduct rules or moderation criteria.
Material changes to the Rules are accompanied by a summary and effective date, with the general terms’ ordinary 15-day notice period, unless a longer period applies or urgent changes are necessary for legal or security reasons.
