Hello, everybody,
I'm new to this forum, so let me briefly introduces myself.
My name is Sander, I'm 39 years old and I live in the Netherlands (Holland). I am a Giulietta enthusiast and have already done a lot of maintenance work on my car.
Fortunately, when cleaning the EGR valve, dirt entered the intake manifold and the engine selected via the starter motor.
It's a July 2015 Juliet, Euro 6 without AdBlue, with engine code 940C3000.
The engine no longer runs and will likely need to be replaced or overhauled.
I know that the code 940C3000 was also used on Euro 5 versions, but I want to know with absolute certainty if these engines are mechanically compatible with mine (Euro 6).
All external components (collectors, turbos, sensors, wiring, ECUs) will be transferred from my current engine.
My questions are:
Thank you so much for your time and help!
Greetings,
Sander

My questions are:
- Is the engine block of the Euro 5 version (same code 940C3000) mechanically identical to the Euro 6 one?
- Someone knows one reliable source to compare technical specifications?
- I don't speak Italian: is there anyone who can help me look for a compatible engine?
- Someone knows a breaker or seller in Italy what could this type of engine have?
Thank you so much for your time and help!
Greetings,
Sander
