"I have encoutered a problem with the main beams. Whenever I turned them on they would make the xenons flash.
This happened because the version with xenons has a different stalker for the turn lights.
The newer version as one more connection to the main beams while the early version uses a relay to turn them on. So, on the early versions, whenever you turn the main beams on the dipped beams also turn on. This does not happen in the xenon version.
You can see the difference between the model without xenons and the one with xenons:

With xenons:

What was making the xenons flash was that when main beams are turned on they have a switch that turns the dipped beams off for a split second and then back on (see the blue circle in H5 in the first picture)
Also, when flashing tha main beams whith dipped beams, it would make the dipped beams flash aswell. Which is not good for the xenon lamps.
I have solved this problem and it is very simple.
To make the main beams flash without flashing the dipped beams we need to cut the connection to the pin 86 of the J45 relay (circuled in red in the firs picture).
To do this we need to cut the pin 4 from F connector on the B1 fuse box (the one next to drivers feet).
You can see in the pictures (it's the brown connector on the rear of the fuse box):

There is a problem in doing this. You will not be able to turn the main beams on (by pushing the stalker away from you) with dipped beams. You will only be able to flash the main beams.
Again, the solution is very simple.
We need to make a solder to make the dipped beams allways on even if we turn on the main beams. To do tis we need to make the following shunt (line in red in H5 unit):

To do this we need to take the complete stalker unit off (need to take steering wheel off) and solder two pins as in the pictures:

Now the main beams work as they should!
Perfectly!"

Ah mama!:smiley_001:
