Domanda per chi ha il cambio automatico con palette al volante

No it's to the left also on LHD. The seconds aren't fix, mainly it depends on the way you're driving. If you drive aggressively it stays in "manual" for a while. Instead if you release the gas and start driving "relaxed" it goes back in automatic (and in general it also puts the higher gear).

Bless you! You are right about the seconds, I noticed this tonight for the first time it was like the gearbox was stuck in second gear when I backed off it changed up.

So they only swap the DNA selector, volume switch and park brake switches in between the LHD and RHD versions? My heated steering wheel switch is on the left in a RHD car!!

Not exactly sure as I'm not very familiar with RHD, but by logic I suppose they change only the strict necessary in order to save costs

Indeed, I noticed that depends on the gas pedal.

Downshift with the paddle with no gas applied: it will stay forever in the same gear (useful for steep downhills). As soon as you apply some gas, after few seconds it will switch back to automatic.

Non ho dimestichezza col cambio automatico, ho sempre guidato manuali...da quel che capisco comunque mi sembra un gran casino...ero convinto che per passare da automatico a manuale ci fosse un tasto tipo on/off o comunque un automatismo che inserisse/disinserisse le palette al volante a mio piacimento...invece se non ho capito male anche in questo caso a seconda delle circostanze è l'auto a decidere...non mi piace

Se non tocchi nulla e lasci la leva del cambio in D, il cambio è completamente automatico.
Se tocchi le palette con la leva del cambio in D, lavora come ho spiegato io e @SuperMario86 sopra
Se tocchi le palette e vuoi che il cambio torni immediatamente in modalità automatica, basta che sposti la leva del cambio in M e la riporti in D (non serve attendere tra quando la metti in M e quando la riporti in D), e lui torna immediatamente in automatico.
Se vuoi il manuale (sempre), metti la leva del cambio in M e lui non tornerà in automatico fino a che non la riporterai in D

Se tocchi le palette con la leva del cambio in D, lavora come ho spiegato io e @SuperMario86 sopra
Se tocchi le palette e vuoi che il cambio torni immediatamente in modalità automatica, basta che sposti la leva del cambio in M e la riporti in D (non serve attendere tra quando la metti in M e quando la riporti in D), e lui torna immediatamente in automatico.
