2.2 Diesel Guasto P0100 (Debimetro)

Hi guys, I've been reading this thread carefully last couple of days, by using Google Translate since I don't speak Italian. I've recently bought used Giulia 140kw, 2019, 2.2 with 109k km. The p0100 appeared about 30km after I took it from the dealer. I also have 2016, 132kw Giulia that I own for three years now, with 230k km and no sign of any problems like this.

Anyway, I was able to record the moment when the check engine light went on. I am really curious how you understand the graph.

Unsure if the egr is stuck for a commanded fixed position (I dubit) or for the valve that has a mechanical obstacle (I think so).
Try to graph required and measure egr position, and you’ll discover the solution.

Just checked but unfortunately I haven't recorded that parameter and I am sure I did select it at first but then un-checked it for some reason, have no clue why. To do another test I need to wait for the electronic shifter replacement which is also now broken and I can't drive the car. Replacement should arrive on Monday.

What I have recorded though is the MAP sensor. Notice how the actual reading is always less than desired, and this is after the sensor has been cleaned. Before it was completely clogged. So maybe I should replace the MAP as well?

Ciao,

Se dovesse capitare a me farei pulire come hai fatto tu tutto e disabilitare egr + flangia !

Finally got the opportunity to record the problem again. The light goes on around 877. Target EGR position 0%, actual position -8% (negative?!) and valve opening 9%. Why negative? And also, valve opening 9% so ECU is sending signal to EGR to change position but it doesn't respond, or it just compensates negative position reading?

Target and actual position are fine.. what is the blue line?
My egr goes on -2,8% when is required 0%. It’s probably the error of position sensor, it works fine

The blue line should be the actual command signal ECU is giving to EGR valve in order to change its position. If you look at the beginning of the graph, at first, blue line goes down telling EGR it should close and the reading from the sensor shows it responded and closed. Then blue line goes up telling it should open and the reading of the sensor shows that it responded and opened. So, target is what ECU calculated, valve opening is the signal to achieve the target, and actual is reading from the sensor. That's how I understand it but might be completely wrong. What bothers me, after the check engine went on, the valve opening is 9% and I would expect 0% since it's closed and there's no action needed but it might be how it operates.
